CM Yogi spoke on the release of 'Padmavat' in Uttar Pradesh, 'I am not a predictor'

New Delhi: Sanjayilal Bhansali's upcoming film 'Padmavat' is about to be released on January 25. Between this announcement, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said nothing about the release of the film in the state.

Yogi, who came to Gorakhpur in November last year, had alleged that Bhangali is not less guilty to those who threaten the actors. He said that if any action takes place then both sides will be against it.
Yogi had said that Bhansali has become accustomed to playing with gestures. The state government had said that unless certain controversial parts of the film are removed, it will not be allowed to be displayed. The name of the movie was first 'Padmavati' but now its name has been changed to 'Padmavat'.
The Chief Minister had said that no one is allowed to take law in his hands. Whether Sanjay Leela is Bhansali or any other He said, 'I feel that if threatening artists are guilty, then Bhansali is also not less guilty.' The film is based on the 16th century Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jaisi's epic 'Padmavat' and Rajput Rani Padmavati.
After rumors spread over the scenes of romantic dream between Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, various Rajputs and other organizations had started protesting against the film in other parts of the country, including Rajasthan, by accusing them of molesting the history and flirting with public sentiments. . Historians, however, are not unanimous about the existence of Rani Padmavati.
After Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Gujarat is the third such state which has banned the performance of this controversial Bollywood movie.
Deepika Padukone plays the role of Rani Padmavati in the film. Shahid Kapoor is in the role of Maharana Ratan Singh and Ranvir Singh Alauddin Khilji.
