New Delhi: Farah Khan is famous as a director, producer, actress and choreographer in Indian cinema. He has given hits to Hindi cinema as 'I am not', 'Om Shanti Om', 'Happy New Year' and 'Sheen-Farhad Ki Nikaal Padi'.
Farah was born on January 9, 1965 in Mumbai. His mother's name is Maneka, sister of Screenwriter Honey Irani. Farah's brother Sajid Khan is also a comedian, actor and film director.

In 2004, he got married to Shirish Kundar, from where Farah had three children. Shirish worked as a director in the film 'I Hoon Na' and as a director in the film 'Joker'.
Farah Khan took this place and started his career in choreography, when the film 'Jai Jeeta Wahi Sikandar' was dropped by choreographer Saroj Khan. He choreographed many songs. Farah did the main actress in the films with her debut film 'Sheerin Farhad Ki Nikaal Padadi'. In this movie his hero was Boman Irani
Farah Khan was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Choreographer in 2004 for his work in 'Bombay Dreams', 'Monsoon Wedding' and 'Vanity Fair'. Farah has been honored with Best Choreographer for five times in the Filmfare Award.
