New Delhi : Sonam Wangchuk, the real inspiration of Aamir Khan's character 'Fuksak Wangdu' in the film '3 Idiots', needs Rs 14 crore to run course in a unrivaled Ladakh region in a university.

Their university skill will provide based training. So, its total cost is around Rs 800 crores, but in order to run the course, they need Rs 14 crores. Out of this, the target of raising seven million rupees corporate social responsibility (CSR) and seven crore rupees is funded by funding. Wangchuk has raised 4.6 million rupees so far from fundraising.

Wangchuk said that his plan is to make this skill-based university more than 200 acres of land in the Fayang valley of Ladakh region. His name is Himalayan Institute of Alternatives Ladakh. Ladakh Hill Council has allotted land for this project.

Before this, Wangchuk also mentioned it in front of cine actor Amitabh Bachchan in TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. Wangchuk started collecting funds from the funding last year for this.

He said, "In the first phase, we are preparing to start Integrated Mountain Development Course in March-April 2018. For this, we need 14 crores, out of which Rs 7 crores will be available till January 26, 2018. The goal of funding and the rest is to raise CSR. "

In this campaign of Wangchuk, two school children also contributed. In this, Arjun Rajawat, a school student of Gurgaon, has launched a campaign and collected one lakh rupees. Similarly, children from a school in Mumbai have raised Rs two lakhs through various activities.
