News of relief for 'Padmavat' from Pakistan, will be released without permission
ISLAMABAD: Deepa Padukone's film Padmavat is released between the protesters on every side today. The release of this film in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Goa has denied the owners of the cinema, which has made the difficulties of the makers. But Pakistan has the news of relief for this film. Pakistan's censor board has approved for screening in the country without any scissors on any view of 'Padmavat'.
Islamabad's Central Board of Film Sensors (CBFC) president Mobashir Hassan announced on social media that the board has passed the film.
He wrote on Twitter: "CBFC has announced the show in cinemas along with the U-certificate, without any scissors, on any view of the Indian artist's feature film, Padmavat."
With this approval, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Period movie is ready to be released in Pakistan. It was earlier said that scissors can be played on this film due to the negative image of Muslim ruler Alauddin Khilji of Delhi Sultanate. Hassan said, "CBFC does not part with the art, creativity and healthy entertainment."
