Opposition in Rajasthan in protest against 'Padmavat'
Karan Sena spokesman Virendra Singh on Saturday announced that on January 17, the national highway and railroad will be jammed in Chittorgarh.
Jaipur / Chittorgarh: In protest of the release of the film 'Padmavat', members of the Karani army jammed the highway connecting Chittorgarh with Udaipur, Kota and Bhilwara. According to the information, the highway near Rithala Chowk in Chittorgarh is full of crowds. To prevent any untoward incident, about 200 policemen have been deployed in Chittorgarh and adjoining areas.
Karan Sena spokesman Virendra Singh on Saturday announced that on January 17, the national highway and railroad will be jammed in Chittorgarh. The administration has instructed officials to change the route of traffic through Rithala Chowk through alternative routes.
A spokesman for Karani Army said in the interaction, "We will continue our protest. We are now in the number of 2,000 and we are confident that our numbers will increase by the evening."
There is also news of the burning of vehicles tires on the highway in Chittorgarh. On the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film 'Padmavat', a ban has been made in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana.
