Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be conferred the 24th Annual Crystal Award at the 48th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be conferred the 24th Annual Crystal Award at the 48th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. This honor will be given to them in support of the rights of children and women in India. According to the official website of the World Economic Forum, actress-director Cate Blanchett and singer Elton John will also be honored with this award.he ceremony will be held on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. He will be the first Indian Prime Minister to address the full session of this prestigious Global Business Conference after 1997.

According to the statement, "Each of them has worked to maintain humanity in their own way."

Shahrukh is the founder of the non-profit organization Mir Foundation. This institution provides medical and legal aid to women suffering from acid attacks, vocational training, rehabilitation and livelihood.

Shahrukh helps in the formation of special wards in the children's hospital and free arrangements for living for children taking cancer
For this honor, Shahrukh expressed gratitude on Thursday, "Thank you for this honor. I consider it a great honor to work with these brave and beautiful women, because it gives purpose to my life. I hope to spread awareness about the wonderful bravery and to join other people to take this work on its conclusion. " 

The 24th Annual Crystal Award will be honored by the achievements of outstanding artists who have shown excellent commitment to improving world conditions.
