WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump welcomed six people from North Korea in the 'Oval Office' who managed to get out of their country somehow.
Trump termed the story of these North Korean citizens "incredibly and truly inspirational". One of these six people was a banker named Seong-Ho, who knew the foreign operations of the North Korean government.
Siong-Ho escaped from North Korea in 2006 and was given a place to sit just a few minutes away from the seat of America's First Lady Melania Trump during the address of Tuesday's State of the Union.
History of bitterness between America and North Korea
Let us tell you that during the war in the Korean peninsula after the second world war, the United States waged a war against North Korea while cooperating with South Korea and since then the two countries are the staunch enemies of each other.
The US North Korean nuclear program, which started in 2006, has been a major antitrust since the beginning. The US made many restrictions on this country and with the help of the UN, but despite all this last year, the dictator of the country, Kim Jong, he succeeded in making such milestones that, besides carrying nuclear weapons, are able to kill America's mainland.
