This year's Bigg Boss is going to see 'Double Trouble' as contestants will come in Jodis
After wrapping up the controversial 11th season of Bigg Boss, the makers have already geared up to bring back the famous reality show back on the screen. In the previous two seasons, we have been seeing commoners taking part in the show, with commoner Manveer Gujjar winning the title in season 10. This year, makers of Bigg Boss 12 have introduced a new twist to the reality show.
Interestingly, this year, Bigg Boss 12 will see contestants in Jodis. Yes, you heard it right. Participants will have to audition in a Jodi to take part in the show. The partner could be anyone, sister, brother, friend, boss or even mother.
On April 15, during Rising Star 2 Grand Finale, Colors TV’s official Twitter handle announced the commencement of audition for Bigg Boss 12. The tweet read, “#BiggBoss12 is coming soon and this time we're looking for jodis! So bring a partner along with you to the @BiggBoss house for twice the dhamaal! Auditions now open!"

An Indian Express report read, “Bigg Boss is one of the most watched shows across the world and the showrunners make an effort to bring something new for its viewers every year. While the partner angle was played during the ninth season themed- Double Trouble, this would be special, as for the first time, contestants will get to participate with their loved ones."
How to apply for Bigg Boss 12?
The audition lines for Bigg Boss 12 are now open. Those who want to participate need to submit their forms on this link: https://www.voot.com/biggboss
They need to upload their video with their partners, putting to display some of their exceptional talent and explaining why they deserve to be in Bigg Boss 12. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their videos and details in the form. The selected candidates will be called for the final round.
Salman Khan, just like the previous seasons, will be hosting Bigg Boss 12. It is being speculated that the show will go on air in September-October.
