Karan Johar to make Kargil war hero Vikram Batra's biopic, play Sidharth Malhotra
Siddharth Malhotra is very happy to play 'Sher Shah' Vikram Batra. He said, "The story of Vikram Batra will inspire you and will bring a smile on your face. I am eager to play this role and shooting will start this year."
Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar Kargil is going to make a film on the life of the war hero Vikram Batra. Karan has also informed that Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in the lead role in the film.
Siddharth, who started his film career with the film 'Student of the Year', is very happy to play the role of 'Sher Shah' Vikram Batra. He said, "The story of Vikram Batra will inspire you and will bring a smile on your face. I am eager to play this role and shooting will start this year."
The film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Shabir Buxwala. The film has been written by Sandip Shrivastav and directed by Vishnu Vardhan. Please tell you that Vikram Batra has been awarded posthumous Param Vir Chakra posthumously.
More recently, Karan Johar had announced the film 'Kalank'. In the 'stigma', stars like Sanjay Dutt Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen. Produced by Abhishek Verman, these films will knock on theaters on April 19, 2019
