MOVIE REVIEW: shows the world of unseen terror, Rajkumar Rao's 'Omarta'

The story of the movie 'Omarta' keeps you tied to the end and when you go out of the movie, there is a question in your mind that why has Hansal Mehta made this movie?

movie review of omerta, rajkumar rao, hansal mehta
Star Cast: Rajkumar Rao
Director: Hansal Mehta
Author: Mukul Dev and Hansal Mehta
Rating: Three Stars (***)

When director Hansal Mehta comes in front of the audience taking a film, it is decided that something unusual or unusual will be seen in his film. Whether we talk about the movie 'Shahid' or 'Aligarh' The story of the film is based on the life of a man who is educated but his brain is washed in the name of jihad and religion. Director Hansal Mehta was working on this film for the past 12 years and now he has got ready to become his project.

When it comes to listening to the name of the film, it seems to be the first thing, why it is named 'Omarta'. So first of all we tell you what it means. Omarta means silence Actually this is a code word that is used in the world of crime. The term is commonly used by criminals not to share information related to their crime. In the film, you have been told about three important events of the world, including India, which are bound by the same thread somewhere. The first incident is 1993 Mumbai blasts, the second incident is from the 1992 India-Nepal Plane Hijack and the third incident is a 9/11 terrorist attack, which was done at the World Trade Center of America. If there is a difference of many years of these three events, but these events go one end and that end is Omar Saeed Sheikh. So the story of the film keeps you tied to the end and when you go out of the movie, there is a question in your mind that why has Hansal Mehta made this film? Let me tell you about its story.

story

The story of the film is of a man Omar Saeed Sheikh who is a citizen of Britain and living in London. Omar wants justice for the Muslims being killed in Bosnia and Palestine in the early 90's and wants to fight against injustice. She shares her feelings with a maulana in London and then starts jihad's journey. During this journey, he enters India through Pakistan.

Umar, who started this jihad for injustice to Muslims in Bosnia, but later he was confused with Kashmir. In the first stage of his fight for this Jihad, he reaches Delhi, India's capital. Here he meets people by saying that he is a resident of London and has come here to meet his parents. Meanwhile, Omar Kidnapped four tourists from India. However, due to the intelligence and speed of the police, those four tourists are rescued. After that he goes to jail and then comes out. When he came out of jail, he was involved in the 1993 bomb blastsDuring the time, two false calls to the Indian government and to the Pakistani government. This leads to a war-like situation on the borders of both the countries. After this, two other terrorists, including Umar, are locked up in jail for the conspiracy of 93 bomb blasts in police action.

After this, Pakistan's terrorists hijack the Indian plane and demand the release of three terrorists. Hafiz Saeed was also involved with Omar in these three terrorists. In 1999, the Indo-Nepal flight was hijacked, in return for the security of passenger, Omar Sahid was released by two Indian terrorists and after that the terrorist attacks on the World Trade CenterThis attack shook the foundation of America and put the whole world in the same place. However, in the film, Umar's direct invoice has not been shown in this attack. But a US journalist Daniel Pearl had pulled out Umar's connection with this attack through his Investigative Reporting and his string was linked to separatist leader Geelani sitting in Kashmir. Daniel meets Omar and Umar assures him that he will introduce him to Geelani. Meanwhile, Umar abducted Daniel and murdered him. Later, he is jailed for the murder.

Let me tell you that Hansal Mehta has completely left the story of Omar on the screen. It would not be wrong if the terrorist would call a documentary made on the life of the Umar, instead of film, because Hansal Mehta has used real footage of the events of that tour in many places in the film. Including footage from the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to the release of Hafiz Saeed and Omar.

direction

Hansal Mehta has directed the film with very truthfulness. He has not added any screws in the story anywhere in the name of making the film entertaining anywhere. Hansal Mehta has done a lot of research on the visits and events related to the life of Omar who have appeared in the film. Although Creative Liberty has not taken the film, due to which it seems like a very serious documentary. Although Hansal Mehta is unable to explain this thing till the end, why did he make this film? This is the first time that a movie has been shown as a central character for a terrorist. But he made this film very carefully. During the entire film, you do not even think for a moment that the movie has been honored for terrorism or terrorism anywhere in the movie.

Acting

Once again Rajkumar Rao has proven his acting and acting talent. Rajkumar Rao is the main role in the film. But there are many actors in different incidents, though none of the very nominee actors are seen in the film. But everyone has played their own characters well. Right now, if you talk about Rajkumar Rao, many times during the film come such as when you start feeling as if it is not Prince but rather Omar Shaikh.

See why:

  • The story of the film is entirely based on true events. Which gives you information about many major and major terrorist incidents of the 90s.

  • Both directing and acting are excellent films. The film might not make you an entertainer but you will give a lot of information.

Why not see:

  • You will not find anything in the movie named Entertainment. The film's story goes straight and tweets and turns are not available to see you.

  • Some scenes of the movie also disturb you, violence has been filmed with very cruelty in many scenes.

  • The story of the film, however, keeps you tied to the end, after the film ends, you feel incomplete, and in your mind, the question arises that why has this film been made?
