Salman Khan to appear in court, hearing on the punishment found in black deer case today

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reached Jodhpur in Rajasthan on Sunday. Today, Salman Khan is to be present in court in Kankani Black Deer Hunting Case.

new Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reached Jodhpur in Rajasthan on Sunday. Today, Salman Khan is to be present in court in Kankani Black Deer Hunting Case. Salman Khan was sentenced to five years in the case of Kankani black deer hunting last month. After the punishment, Salman had to go to jail. Later Salman Khan got bail. After getting the punishment, Salman Khan challenged the sessions court decision which will be heard today. Jodhpur Sessions court had ordered Salman to appear before the court on May 7.

Today the court will decide whether Salman's appeals will be heard or not. Tell you that the CJM Devkumar Khatri, who gave the sentence to Salman Khan and the District Judge who gave bail and the judge of Sessions Court RK Joshi, have been transferred. While convicting Salman Khan in black diamond case, the court sentenced him to 5 years in jail and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.


Apart from Salman Khan, in this case co-accused Saif Ali Khan, actress Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu were acquitted of giving benefit of doubt. After the sentence was sent, Salman Khan was taken into custody. He stayed in jail till April 7 Subsequently Salman Khan was granted a guaranteed bail.





Salman's lawyers filed an appeal in the sessions court seeking remission of the sentence. On May 7, that is to be heard today. These days, Salman Khan is shooting for his upcoming movie 'Race 3' and 'India'. With this, tell you that according to the terms of bail, he could not leave the country. After bail, Salman Khan filed a petition seeking the permission of the court to go to four countries for shooting the film. Subsequently, Salman was allowed to go abroad by Sessions Court.

This is the whole case:

Let me tell you that this is the case of 1998 when Salman Khan was in Jodhpur for the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. He was also accompanied by Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam. All four, including Salman, have alleged that they had hunted two black deer in Kankani village near Jodhpur on 1 October 1998. There were four cases registered against Salman, including the Arms Act. Salman Khan has been acquitted in three cases. This is the fourth case of Kankani village. Apart from Salman, the four other stars have been acquitted by the court due to lack of evidence. Salman was sentenced to five years in jail and 10 thousand fines were also imposed.


Actually, black deer is an endangered animal and is included in Schedule One of the Wildlife (Protection) Act- 1972. Its murder is a legal offense. Salman has been found guilty under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 for the purpose of hunting for two black diamonds and sentenced to five years in jail.
