Shweta Bachchan Nanda makes acting debut with father Amitabh Bachchan, see pics

The father-daughter duo of Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta will enact the special bond they share, on screen, for the first time.

Born to legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta, is all set to make her acting debut with none other than daddy dearest Big B. Shweta Bachchan Nanda shot a TV commercial for a leading jewellery brand with her superstar father on Monday, in Film City, Mumbai. The TVC, which is also being shot in Malayalam will have Manju Warrier playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter. The advertisement is expected to go on air in July.

The father-daughter duo will enact the special bond they share on film for the first time. The ad film, scripted by L&K Saatchi & Saatchi and directed by GB Vijay from Sculptors Production, narrates the story of a father and daughter, while also echoing the values of trust and transparency, that brand the jewellery brand stands for.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan put up an adorable post for Shweta on Instagram. Sharing a collage of two pictures that feature the father-daughter duo (one from Shweta’s childhood, another one from the recent times), Big wrote on the photo-sharing website, “I held her hand then .. I hold it now .. and shall ever do so .. Shweta my first born ..”Looks like ahead of shooting with his daughter for the first time ever in his life, Big B has gotten emotional, and we totally we understand why.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan received huge applause for his performance in 102 Not Out. The megastar will be seen next in Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
