Padmavat controversy: Bollywood said on Swara Bhaskar's open letter - They have the right to keep their opinion

Swara had criticized director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for glorifying Jawahar in the film. The film was released last month only after months of controversy.

Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities like Ayushman Khurana and director Imtiaz Ali have said that Swaraj Bhaskar, who is critical of Jauhar in 'Padmavat', is free to hold his opinion. Though he has not found anything objectionable in the movie. Swara had criticized director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for glorifying Jawahar in the film. The film was released last month only after months of controversy.

Ayushman has said that everyone is free to keep their opinions while respecting the filmmaker's viewpoint. Actor said on the red carpet of Mirchi Music Awards, "One movie does two work. Either it gives something to society or takes anything from it. Every director has his own vision. The motive of every art is to discuss and discuss. There are critics who discuss and then have viewers who give their opinions. So everyone has their own views. "

Actress Divya Dutta said that this scene in the film reminds of Johar, but the story is centuries old. They do not think Bhansali has glorified the practice.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has refused to comment on this because he wants the film to go peacefully because the filmmaker has already suffered a lot. He said that the film should be left to the audience, who have the right to accept or reject it.

Director Imtiaz Ali said that he did not show anything in the film which was to be displayed. He said, "There is nothing in Padmavat that should be opposed but everyone has their own opinion."
