Sridevi’s sudden demise has left the nation in shock and grief. On Sunday, the country woke up to the devastating news of Bollywood’s finest actress Sridevi’s death. It was a hard to gulp down news, as the night before, the gorgeous actress was seen dancing at her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding in Dubai. While people were trying to cope-up with this hard-hitting reality that the veteran actress is no more among us, tributes were pouring in from all quarters.
Amul Cooperative, which is known for its quirky and throught-provoking caricatures on ongoing matters, paid a heart-warming tribute to the late actress. The picture shows various characters which Sridevi has essayed on the silverscreen. It featured her characters from hits like Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Mom and English Vinglish. In the caption, they wrote the iconic lines from Sridevi’s hit Lamhe which reads, “Woh lamhe hum hamesha yaad rakhenge...”
Sridevi passed away on February 24 in Dubai after accidentally drowning in her hotel bathtub. The actress was in UAE to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding with Antara Motiwala. Before her death, Sridevi shared many pictures from the family function on her Instagram account.
