New Delhi: The late actress Sridevi's husband Bonnie Kapoor said that the actress gave her 100 percent of all the films in which she worked and it is unfortunate that she got her first national award after her death. On Thursday, Boney had come to Delhi to participate in the 65th National Awards ceremony with his two daughters, Jahnvi and Happiness.

When Doordarshan Anchar asked him how he was feeling when Sridevi received a second national award, Bonni corrected him and said, "First of all, let me correct your point of view. This is his first national awards. It's a proud moment for me. "

Boney Kapoor said, "It is also a moment of sadness for us, we wanted him to be here with us, he was entitled to this award, he did almost 300 films in almost 50 years, he has done all the films. It was unfortunate that he was given this award after leaving us. "

Please tell you that Sridevi has been given the award for his film 'Mum'. Bonni said, "It is a time of pride for all of us, but sadly it is not between us." With this, when asked if he would advise young fans who want to be like Sridevi? Bonni said, "Like my daughters, other young girls also want to be like my late wife. I would say to them that always focus on their goals and keep working."

Bonnie also said that Sridevi will always be alive through her work. He said, "The world is watching what he did and what he achieved, due to the TV and the digital era, he will always be entertained by the people, till the time the film is in existence, he will continue to entertain everyone."

He also thanked the Government of India, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the jury headed by filmmaker Shekhar Kapur for the national award.
